Thanks to the League of Women Voters (Carteret County News-Times)

Newport, N.C. On Thursday, I was fortunate to attend the League of Women Voters forum for candidates running for federal, state and local public office.

State test scores show wide divide between schools north and south of the Broad (Island Packet)

While the latest PACT scores show improvement among Beaufort County students, they also indicate significant disparities in scores among different ethnic groups and between schools north and south of the Broad River.
