Kelsey Jones, a fixture on the Canton High School honor roll, was in pre-calculus the morning a police dog sniffed her locker for drugs.

WAYNESVILLE ? Haywood County Animal Control and the Haywood County Health Department sponsor a series of Rabies Clinics Oct. 13-Oct. 17. According to North Carolina law, in order for a rabies vaccine to be current, all dogs and cats four months old and older must be vaccinated against rabies.
