Religion Notes: Oct. 3 (The Fayetteville Observer)

Cedar Falls Baptist Church, 6181 Ramsey St., will hold its 5th annual Bake Sale for Children on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon. The proceeds will go to Odom Home in Pembroke, one of the state?s Baptist Children?s Homes. Donations are also appreciated. 488-5810, www.bchfamily.org.

St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2844 Village Drive, will host the 2nd Annual Bike Ride for Sam on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. with registration at 8 a.m. Samuel Greathouse lost his battle with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis Sept. 17, 2007, at 25 months old.

Hay Street United Methodist Church, 320 Hay St., will host its annual spaghetti lunch and dinner tonight, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for a plate. Baked goods will also be sold.
