Edenton, N.C.'s Cupola House to mark the big 2-5-0 (The Virginian-Pilot)

By Connie Sage Correspondent Called "one of the most distinctive and important dwellings of its period in the South," the Cupola House will celebrate its 250th anniversary with tours, lectures and exhibits beginning Sept. 27. To kick off the anniversary, the Elizabeth II - sailing from Manteo - is to arrive in Edenton Harbor at noon Sept. 27, escorted by the Edenton Yacht Club.
